Abstract. The article deals with the problem of the effectiveness of modern cognitive learning technology, which requires a valid correlation of the formed competence with numerical series to formalize the results obtained. The purpose of the article is to establish the essential components of cognitive learning technology, to determine the criteria for the effectiveness of its application and to present the results of a pedagogical experiment on testing this criterion base.
