Формирование читательского интереса младших школьников с помощью книжной иллюстрации
В статье рассматривается проблема снижения читательского интереса у младших школьников. На основе анализа психолого-педагогической литературы и результатов опытно-экспериментальной работы, проведённой в гимназии № 505 Санкт-Петербурга, обосновывается эффективность проектной деятельности с использованием книжной иллюстрации. Раскрываются теоретические аспекты читательского интереса, возрастные особенности младших школьников, а также специфика работы с иллюстрацией. Представлена авторская модель проектной деятельности «Читаем, смотрим, творим», которая позволяет включить родителей в содержательный диалог с ребёнком и школой. Излагаются качественные результаты контрольного этапа эксперимента, подтверждающие устойчивость и перенос сформированных навыков.

Formation of reading interest of younger schoolchildren through book illustration

Abstract. The article deals with the problem of declining reading interest among primary school children. Based on the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature and the results of experimental work carried out at gymnasium No. 505 in Saint Petersburg, the effectiveness of project activities using book illustrations is substantiated. The theoretical aspects of reading interest, age characteristics of younger schoolchildren, as well as the specifics of working with illustrations are revealed. The author’s model of project activity «Read, watch, create» is presented, which allows parents to be included in a meaningful dialogue with the child and the school. Qualitative results of the control stage of the experiment, confirming the stability and transfer of the formed skills, are given.
