Sopova, master’s student of the program “Theater pedagogy and directing of the educational environment”, actress of the Dolgoprudny theater “City”, master of the project “Theater workshop “Cities”, Moscow, sopova@mail.ru ABSTRACT. The article presents the experience of creating an inclusive family studio for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and Down syndrome at the Dolgoprudny Theater “Gorod”. The shift in paradigm from art therapy to a model of creative self-realization and cultural manifestation of personality is examined. The stages of the studio’s work, methodological principles based on the concepts of L. S. Vygotsky and N. T. Popova, as well as practical results including an analysis of constraints, difficulties and pedagogical insights are described. Special attention is paid to the role of the professional theater environment, family involvement and the competencies of the teacher in forming an inclusive space where the actor’s special characteristics become an artistic asset.
