Abstract. The issues of developing methodological support for the course of elementary mathematics for students of graduating grades of schools, lyceums and gymnasiums, university applicants, as well as first-year students who already know its content are considered. Specific methodological solutions aimed at developing mathematical thinking of students in mathematical fields of study are presented.
