В СТАТЬЕ ПРЕДСТАВЛЕН НЕОБЫЧНЫЙ ФОРМАТ KUMITE ПРОВЕДЕНИЯ ОЛИМПИАДЫ ПО ПРОГРАММИРОВАНИЮ НА JAVASCRIPT С ПАТРИОТИЧЕСКОЙ ТЕМАТИКОЙ В ПОПУЛЯРНОЙ СИСТЕМЕ CODEWARS. УЧАСТНИКИ ВЫПОЛНЯЛИ ЗАДАНИЯ, В КОТОРЫХ НУЖНО БЫЛО ЛИБО НАПИСАТЬ КОД, СОДЕРЖАЩИЙ ТОЛЬКО СИМВОЛЫ НАЦИОНАЛЬНОГО АЛФАВИТА, ЛИБО СЛОВ НАЦИОНАЛЬНОГО АЛФАВИТА ДОЛЖНО БЫТЬ БОЛЬШЕ, ЧЕМ АНГЛИЙСКИХ СЛОВ. ОЛИМПИАДА ОБЪЕДИНИЛА НЕ ТОЛЬКО СТУДЕНТОВ ОДНОЙ ГРУППЫ, НО И ДРУГИХ ПОЛЬЗОВАТЕЛЕЙ СИСТЕМЫ CODEWARS С ИННОВАЦИОННЫМИ ПОДХОДАМИ И ВЫСОКИМ УРОВНЕМ ВЛАДЕНИЯ ЯЗЫКОМ JAVASCRIPT. ОТДЕЛЬНОЕ ВНИМАНИЕ УДЕЛЕНО ЗАДАНИЯМ, ИХ СЛОЖНОСТИ И ТОМУ, КАК ПЛАТФОРМА CODEWARS ПОМОГАЕТ СДЕЛАТЬ ПРОЦЕСС СОРЕВНОВАНИЯ УВЛЕКАТЕЛЬНЫМ И СПРАВЕДЛИВЫМ.

PROGRAMMING OLYMPIAD WITH NATIONAL FLAVOR

Abstract. The article describes the unusual Kumite format of the JavaScript programming Olympiad with a patriotic theme, which took place in the popular Codewars system. Participants completed tasks in which they had to either write code containing only symbols of the national alphabet, or there should be more words of the national alphabet than English words. The Olympiad united not only students of one group, but also other users of the CodeWars system, who demonstrated innovative approaches and a high level of proficiency in the JavaScript language. Special attention is paid to the tasks, their complexity and how the Codewars platform helped make the competition process exciting and fair.
