THE CULTURE OF HANDLING WEAPONS AS A TASK OF MILITARY-PATRIOTIC EDUCATION OF STUDENTS

Abstract. The article provides a justification for the importance of military-patriotic education in the modern geopolitical situation. The authors reveal the peculiarities of the influence of military special knowledge, skills and abilities on the formation of a responsible attitude towards weapons among young people. The main aspects of the formation of a culture of handling weapons among students in the context of military-patriotic education are considered. A working definition of the culture of handling weapons is given.
