GEOGRAPHICAL EDUCATION, GLOBALIZATION AND PROBLEMS OF CIVIC IDENTITY

Abstract. This article includes a rationale for the importance of studying the process of globalization for modern geographical space. The article examines the problems and trends in the development of school geographical education in the context of globalization, the possibilities of the subject of geography in solving the problems of forming a person’s civic identity.
