SYSTEMATIZATION AND STRUCTURING OF EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL WHEN STUDYING GEOGRAPHY IN 5–9 CLASSES WITHIN THE DEVELOPMENT OF NATURAL SCIENCE LITERACY OF STUDENTS

Abstract. The article reveals the possibilities and methodological features of structuring, generalization and systematization of educational material on geography by means of diagrams, supporting graphic summaries and smart maps. The organization of work on the schematization of the studied material is considered from the point of view of the development of natural science literacy among students. There are presented examples of graphic interpretation of information that can be used when studying a number of topics in grades 5–9.
