How to light the reading fire in a child? The ability and art of reading in the era of clips and clicks

Abstract. The deep meaning of reading as a process during which a person creates his own knowledge at the moment of efforts to overcome the obstacle of the text, and also makes the author’s reconstruction of what is hidden behind a series of icons that hold and store in themselves countless universes of other consciousnesses. The answer to the question: how to awaken in a child a passion for reading despite the presence of a huge number of competitive sources of information that provide information in a brighter and more accessible form. Conditions and means that allow to form the need for reading in children of preschool and primary school age through the mechanisms of self-actualization in the text.
