В статье рассматривается роль практических работ по геометрии в активизации познавательной деятельности обучающихся. Современный курс геометрии не использует потенциальные возможности измерительных работ на местности и измерительных инструментов. Использование этого опыта в дополнительном образовании может позволить перейти от формального изучения геометрии к осознанию обучающимися её практической значимости и развитию их функциональной грамотности.

GEOMETRY: FROM ACTION TO THOUGHT

Abstarct. The article examines the role of practical work on geometry in enhancing the cognitive activity of students. The modern geometry course does not take advantage of the potential of measuring work on the ground and measuring tools. Using this experience in additional education can make it possible to move from the formal study of geometry to students' awareness of its practical significance and the development of their functional literacy.
