School Psychological Service: Management Crisis or Role Crisis?

Abstract: The author describes three systemic traps of the school psychological service. The article proposes to reconsider the role of the school psychologist and shift them from the position of a “firefighter” to that of a “supervisor and methodologist” who systematically trains teachers and parents, provides supervision for complex cases, and conducts an audit of the psychological environment.
