Учительские библиотеки в системе профессионально-личностного развития отечественных педагогов во второй половине XIX — начале XX вв.
Историко-педагогический анализ появления и развития библиотек в учебных заведениях в России с момента их появления и до 1917 года. Значение земств, общественных управлений, частных просветительских обществ и благотворителей в открытии учительских библиотек и пополнении их фондов. Проблемы и особенности деятельности библиотек для учителей в Мордовском крае, Нижегородской, Новгородской, Рязанской, Саратовской, Тамбовской, Тульской, Ярославской губерниях.

Abstract: Based on the study and analysis, generalization and systematization of literature and archival materials on the research topic, a historical and pedagogical analysis of the appearance and development of libraries in educational institutions in Russia from the moment of their appearance until 1917 was carried out; the importance of zemstvos, public administrations, private educational societies and philanthropists, etc. is shown. the opening of teachers’ libraries and the replenishment of their funds; The problems and features of teachers’ libraries in the Mordovian Region, Nizhny Novgorod, Novgorod, Ryazan, Saratov, Tambov, Tula, Yaroslavl provinces of Russia in the second half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century have been identified. Further research may be aimed at studying the development of teachers’ libraries in other historical periods.
