A Project That Changes The Soul

Abstract: The article examines the potential of project activities of schoolchildren in the context of additional education as a means of spiritual and moral development of a personality. The author suggests rethinking the traditional approach to projects, shifting the focus from the formal fulfillment of tasks to the creation of value-based educational practice — anthropopractics. On the basis of anthropological and axiological approaches, the principles of “co-existence community”, “collaboration” and “humanization of knowledge” are formulated. The practical part of the article presents specific tools for teachers: banks of research and social project topics, a model of work organization based on dialogue and cooperation, as well as a system of humanitarian expertise of the results. Special attention is paid to overcoming typical risks when implementing this model. The material is addressed to teachers of additional education who are interested in the profound educational impact of project activities on the personality of a student.
