Once Again About The Unified State Exam. A Mistake Or A Crime?

Abstract: The twenty-year “EGIZATION” of Russian school education continues to produce its monstrous personal and social effects. Graduates come out of school who are «trained» for substantive learning outcomes, but with an extremely flawed general culture, an unformed life position, and value orientations that are dangerous to themselves and society. The main problem of the Unified State Exam is not the KIMS or the exam preparation and conduct procedures, which cause students serious psychological stress, sometimes leading to suicidal attempts. The main problem is that, having replaced the three didactic purpose of the lesson (cognition — education — development), it has become a system-forming component of the holistic educational process, reducing it to an educative and developmental function.
