Pomorie: You Can’t Leave, You Can’t Stay

Abstract: For many, the culture and traditions of their small homeland are becoming a thing of the past, and the once strong connecting threads of generations are gradually thinning and disappearing. The article describes the practice of introducing children and adolescents to the traditions of Pomerania, gaining comprehensive knowledge of local lore, and strengthening ties with their small homeland through the activities of the Pomorie: You Can’t Leave, You Can’t Stay shift program at the Severny Artek children’s health camp in the Kholmogorsky District, Arkhangelsk Region.
