Bridges Of Friendship. Cross-Cultural Interaction In The Camp “Angasolka”

Abstract: The article describes the experience of implementing the Bridges of Friendship program at the Angasolka children’s camp on Lake Baikal, aimed at cross-cultural interaction and prevention of interethnic tension between the younger generation of Russia and Mongolia. The program includes cultural immersion, language exchange, environmental protection and tourism activities. The key component is the Baikal — Khubsugul International Environmental Forum, which promotes the development of environmental awareness and international cooperation among young people. The article highlights the importance of such programs in fostering tolerance, empathy, and respect for cultural diversity among children and adolescents.
