The Educational Mission Of Modern Museum Pedagogy

Abstract: The problem of education of modern young Russians remains relevant. The article examines the educational potential of school museums as an important tool for the formation of civic, patriotic and moral qualities in modern children: the educational mission of modern museum pedagogy in the space of an educational organization based on the analysis of the socio-cultural role of the museum in the education of modern children. The educational space of the school museum is a special environment where education and culture are combined, where the unique possibilities of museum pedagogy are realized. It is concluded that the educational space of the museum allows to form the personality qualities of an adult through understanding the previously unknown cultural and historical experience of the people.
