The Image Of The Defender Of The Fatherland In Russian Cinema And His Role In The Upbringing Of The Younger Generation

Abstract: The article is devoted to the study of changes in the image of the defender of the Fatherland in Russian cinema in different periods of history. Based on the analysis of the content of feature films, the image of the defender of the Fatherland in the framework of the Soviet and post-Soviet periods is considered; it is traced how the idea of him was enriched with new characteristics in the context of specific historical and cultural realities; a critical analysis of the image of the defender of the Fatherland presented in cinema and historical facts is given.; The importance of his image, presented in Russian cinema in the process of educating the younger generation, is emphasized.
