Advanced Training Of School Principals In Scientific Literature

Abstract: Scientific thought in the system of professional additional education of school principals was formed under the influence of state educational goals and the perception of the role of the school principal. Researchers in this field have sought to understand the challenges and contradictions, in particular, the dilemma between the administrative function of a supervisor and his teaching activities. Is the headmaster a “teacher of teachers” or an effective manager? In this context, scientific thought can be systematized through two opposite perspectives: the perception of the school principal as a manager — executor of regulatory requirements or as a creator initiating innovative approaches in education. In the research scientific works of Russian scientists, these directions can be traced: some focus on the study of methods to improve the efficiency of administrative processes, while others study more ways to achieve educational and educational goals. At the same time, the study of the influence of the personality of the headmaster is reflected in each of them.
