The “Pedagogical Breath” Of The Writer: About Values, Successful Technologies And The Problem Of Fathers And Children

Abstract: Our acquaintance with the writer Dmitry Yemets has actually been going on for more than twenty years. Once upon a time, the editorial board decided to cooperate with the publishing house of children's educational programs "VestiTDA". Its director at that time, Alexander Ivanovich Yemets, a meteorologist by his first profession, who unexpectedly became a publisher, told the story of the creation of his company at the first meeting.: his son writes wonderful books for children, and his father came up with the idea of distributing them by sound recording — musical fairy tales with famous professional actors were recorded based on Dmitry Yemets' books "The Dragon Pykhalka" (written in dedication to the writer's grandmother), "Kuklavan and Co.", "Lord of Dust", "Adventures of Housekeepers" and others.. Both the books and the audio performances on them were equally liked by our children, the audio performances became, for a while, actually family leisure, because they were listened to by the child without interruption. The fascination with the stories and characters of books, their relationships, was welcomed by parents — the dialogues of funny and good-natured characters, their adventures, the fascinating struggle against evil, sweet and direct magic, Dmitry Yemets's literary language are distinctly kind, sincere, just as we love, keeping Soviet cartoons and good Soviet cinema in our memory from childhood. He became the youngest member of the Writers' Union, having been admitted to it at the student age — at the age of 22. To date, Dmitry Yemets has welldeserved fame and popularity, in demand among children and adolescents, and even adults, a series of books, the names of Tanya Grotter, Methodius Buslaev, and Shnyr (School of Divers) are well-known... There is also a transition from fantastic plots, cool fantasy to realism, to the cycle of historical portraits "Ancient Russia. History in stories for schoolchildren", to create computer games based on the plots of his works. Dmitry and I talked about the love of books and reading, the responsibility of a writer, family and traditional values, and the power of reading generations.
