The Great Victory And Its Significance In The Realities Of Russia And The Post-Soviet Space

Abstract: The article analyzes the tragedy of the collapse of the Soviet Union in terms of the perception of Victory and controversial episodes of the history of the Second World War from the political and social sides, but not only. Mass art is of great importance in this sense. The author highly appreciates the ideological and artistic heritage of Soviet cinema and shows examples of falsification of history in Russian films and television films of recent decades.
