Abstract: The essay is dedicated to one of the most vivid and tragic pages of the Battle for Moscow. The Victory Almanac, with gratitude for the feat of the youngest defenders of the Fatherland, publishes the personal memoirs of Irina Vladimirovna Babakova, the granddaughter of Afanasy Ivanovich Alyoshkin, commander of the 4th battery of the Podolsk Artillery School.
