The Significance Of A. S. Makarenko’s Pedagogy Today: A Philosophical Review

Abstract: For many decades, A. S. Makarenko’s creative legacy has been subjected to various types of interpretation and distortion, depending on the prevailing discourse at one time or another. Despite these circumstances, the pedagogical theory and educational practice of the famous teacher have not lost their relevance today. The purpose of this article is to search for value-oriented and personality-oriented attitudes of A. S. Makarenko’s creative legacy. The scientific novelty of the article is an understanding of the above-mentioned attitudes within the framework of several philosophical approaches.
