Abstract: The article considers theoretical and methodological approaches to the development of the system of patriotic education in the Russian Federation, analyzes its legal basis, identifies structural components and conditions, and identifies the problematic field of patriotic education. The purpose of the article is to improve methodological approaches to patriotic education. The concept of seamless education is presented as a scientific and methodological basis for the formation of a modern paradigm of patriotic education.
