Abstract. In the article the author substantiates the effectiveness of the quest game in career guidance work with younger students, determines the characteristics of the quest, the principles of its development and implementation. Presented career guidance quest "Paths of different professions" for younger students, which was developed and implemented by the author in extracurricular activities. The accelerating pace of changes in the world, society, science, technology and increasing competition in the labor market, the emergence of new professions require the teacher to search for new and original methods that increase the efficiency of career guidance at school. As practice shows, modern children learn information better in the process of self-obtaining, analysis and systematization of the material. Given this, in career-oriented work is very effective method of work as a career-oriented quest.
