Why Is The Montessori Method Not Out Of Date?

Abstract. The pedagogical system of M. Montessori outlived its author by almost a hundred years. What allows her to continue to attract the attention of not only teachers, but also parents who seek to send their children to kindergartens and Montessori schools. This article presents not the arguments that scientific research today confirms the effectiveness of the system in modern conditions, but those features and conceptual foundations that allow the method of scientific pedagogy to remain modern and in demand.
