Сократ и Платон о возможности обучения добродетели. Часть 1
В ДИАЛОГАХ ПЛАТОНА «ПРОТАГОР» И «МЕНОН»» СОКРАТ ОБСУЖДАЕТ ПРОБЛЕМУ ВОЗМОЖНОСТИ НАУЧИТЬ ЧЕЛОВЕКА ДОБРОДЕТЕЛИ. В ЭТИХ ДИАЛОГАХ ИЗЛОЖЕНО ПОНИМАНИЕ СОКРАТОМ ДОБРОДЕТЕЛИ КАК ЗНАНИЯ, КОТОРОЕ НЕЛЬЗЯ ПЕРЕДАТЬ УЧЕНИКУ ТРАДИЦИОННЫМИ МЕТОДАМИ. В ДИАЛОГЕ «ТЕЭТЕТ» ИЗЛОЖЕНА КОНЦЕПЦИЯ ПЛАТОНА ОБ ОБУЧЕНИИ ДОБРОДЕТЕЛИ КАК СОДЕЙСТВИЮ УЧЕНИКУ СО СТОРОНУ УЧИТЕЛЯ В ПРИПОМИНАНИИ ИСТИННОГО ЗНАНИЯ, СОДЕРЖАЩЕГОСЯ В ЕГО ДУШЕ.

SOCRATES AND PLATO ON THE POSSIBILITY OF TEACHING VIRTUE. PART 1

Abstract. In Plato’s dialogues Protagoras and Menon, Socrates discusses the problem of the possibility of teaching a person virtue. These dialogues outline Socrates’ understanding of virtue as knowledge that cannot be conveyed to a student by traditional methods. The dialogue “Theaetetus” outlines Plato’s concept of teaching virtue as helping the student on the part of the teacher to recall the true knowledge contained in his soul.
