Статья посвящена раскрытию путей реализации языковых концепций ХХ столетия в системе подготовки учителей иностранных языков в США. Обращено внимание на Стандарты по иностранному языку для XXI века, разработанные в ходе совместной деятельности девяти Ассоциаций по иностранным языкам, активно работающих в этом направлении в системе иноязычного образования в стране.

The implementation of language concepts in training foreign languages teachers of the USA.

Anastasia S. Akmaeva, an applicant at the Foreign languages Department, Federal university in Kazan, the institute

of Philology and Art.

The article deals with the ways of realization different linguistic conceptions of XX century within the system of the

foreign language teachers’ preparation. It is investigated the leading conceptions of the 21 century with the view of

their development within the global context. It is paid attention to communication approach in teaching languages

which is focused on in the Standards for Foreign Language Learning in the 21st Century.
