Школьная математика должна включать в себя обе ветви современной математики — теоретическую и прикладную. В школьном курсе математики при решении прикладных задач естественным этапом является математическое моделирование реальных процессов. Нужно развить интерес к изучению математики и экономики, формировать полное представление о решении текстовых задач. Ознакомить учащихся с соотношениями между явлениями реального мира и его математичискими моделями. Обучить построению математических моделей жизненных ситуаций.

Abstract. School mathematics should include both branches of modern mathematics — theoretical and applied.
