The Return Of Education?!

Abstract: The purpose of the article is to problematize the issue of education as a subject of professional activity of teachers. It is argued that the subject of education can be defined only in the context of those social trends that manifest themselves in society. The arguments are given that one of the deficits of building education as a socio-pedagogical phenomenon is «running away from problems»: a superficial analysis of the problems associated with the social situation of the development of modern schoolchildren and the capabilities of teachers. The article concludes with two scenarios for the development of the socio-educational situation in our country.
