Abstract: The article describes a study of the activities of municipal methodological services and the nature of their interaction with educational organizations as a subject of discussion at the August teachers’ council. The author’s questionnaire for assessing the effectiveness of their functioning is provided. The results of a survey of employees of municipal methodological services of the Ulyanovsk region made it possible to identify the features of the services’ activities, as well as offer recommendations for the development of municipal methodological services and their interaction with educational organizations.
