Shmakov’s Laws

Abstract: Are the concepts of “law” and “camp” antagonistic, embodying, on the one hand, regulations and frameworks, on the other — free young libertines, brightness and unrestrained behavior and feelings? Laws are generally accepted and fixed rules of conduct, regulation of the temporal and meaningful aspects of life. The camp is a unique model of otherness, changing social roles, behavioral patterns and attitudes towards oneself and the world. Does the camp need laws? Won’t they break the fragile edge of creativity, won’t they extinguish the fire of young hearts?
