Появление в этом учебном году единого государственного учебника истории для 10–11-х классов вызвало много откликов, как положительных, так и отрицательных. Опираясь на материалы обсуждения этого учебника на стратегической сессии в Московском педагогическом государственном университете, авторы рассматривают особенности современного этапа развития школьного образования в России, задачи, которые решает новый учебник, возможности дальнейшего совершенствования содержания и форм работы.

Abstract: The appearance of the unified state history textbook for grades 10–11 this academic year has caused a lot of responses, both positive and negative. Based on the materials of the discussion of this textbook at the strategic session at the Moscow Pedagogical State University, the authors consider the features of the current stage of the development of school education in Russia, the tasks that the new textbook solves, the possibilities of further improvement of the content and forms of work.
