Abstract: The article deals with the problem of preschool (family) and school mental, moral and labor education. On the example of the pre-revolutionary life of Anton Semenovich Makarenko, such important problems as family relations between parents and children, childhood friendship with peers, pedagogical skills of teachers of the pre-revolutionary school, intellectual and moral maturation of a young person are revealed.
Keywords: development of creative abilities and work skills in the family and primary school, the personality of the teacher of the pre-revolutionary school, the relationship of children and adults in the family and school.
