Abstract: The article considers the subjectivity of a student as a personal educational result, it manifests itself in the process of self-determination, in conscious and accepted values and meanings, as well as in the ability to carry out their activities based on personal values and meanings. The combination of these positions is reflected in the subject position. Two important directions in the understanding and implementation of the ideas of subjectivity in the theory and practice of school education are presented. First. Subjectivity, the subjective position as a personal quality of the pupil, the student’s practice as a subject of self-education and a subject of self-development is important. Second. A student as a subject of interaction. It is the interaction of the teacher and schoolchildren that underlies the process of education, and it is important to understand how it should be built based on the subjectivity of the pupil.
