Abstract: The author suggests a mechanism aimed at developing students’ creative abilities and innovative thinking, which is based on the process of involving students in the creation of a regional innovation project that allows them to gain practical experience in solving inventive tasks and realize their creative potential to achieve better results both in the course of study and in further work.
