Abstract: The article is devoted to the study of the system of progressive self-education of adolescents based on the work of N.K. Krupskaya «RKSM and Boy Scouting», where the essential features of scouting as a pedagogical system are given, the most important elements of the scout method are identified, the specifics of the age psychology of adolescents are considered.
