The Evolution Of The Names Of The Rivin Method: From Talgenism To Orgdialog

Abstract: There are more than a dozen names of the method of collective mutual learning of A.G. Rivin. Many of them were introduced by the teacher’s students and followers. The article highlights for the first time the original names of the method given by the author himself. A hypothesis is formulated that explains when and for what reason A.G. Rivin changed the names of the method. These «turning points» are linked to the facts of official criticism of the method by the authorities. The substantiations and proofs of the proposed hypothesis are given. The names of the method given by the teacher’s students and followers are marked separately.
