«Reforms» Of Russian Education: Goals, Resalts, Lessons

Abstract. The facts that show the catastrophic state of education in modern Russia are given. The question of the reasons. The history of the four «reforms» is summarized — from 1918 to 2018. The beginning of the fall in the quality of education is established — 1956 and the beginning of the continuous process of degradation — 1978. The root cause of degradation, which lies in the «reform» of the 1970s, is established, and the falsity of its guiding idea of a «high theoretical level» of instruction (principle HTL) is revealed. The strategic results of the «reform» are shown. Conclusions, actual for the present.
