Pedagogical Punishment: The Essence And Problems Of Application

Abstract. In russian society there is no consensus on the use of pedagogical pun-ishments, which are not specifically regulated at the legislative level. In this regard, there is a threat of violations of the rights of children and the committing crimes by parents who do not realize the limits of the use of disciplinary power. For the optimal solution of the problem with the help of an interdisciplinary approach, pedagogical punishment is proposed to be considered as a reaction to the violation of the rules of behavior, which determined by culture. Since punishment is a way of relieving stress, it is necessary to prohibit their use, as well as any form of aggression against children, including mental aggression.
