Abstract. The article is devoted to questions of development of professionalism of future teachers in conditions of preparation for work with the temporary children’s collective, carried out in the process of theoretical training and pedagogical practice in children’s health camps and educational centers. For students of the Pedagogical University, this activity is a test of professional suitability and an effective means of developing a professional identity.
