Преподавание информатики в общеобразовательных школах России прошло несколько этапов развития. Первый этап — обучение алгоритмам и способам решения задач на ЭВМ. Второй этап — большое внимание информационным технологиям обработки различных типов информации. На настоящем этапе наблюдается явный крен в сторону ИКТ в ущерб алгоритмизации.

School computer science: stages of development and new role understanding.

Teaching informatics in secondary schools of Russia passed several stages of development. The first step — teaching algorithms and methods of solving problems on a computer. The second stage — a lot of attention was paid to information technology processing of various types of information. The present stage emphasizes ICT to the prejudice of algorithmization.
