Аннотация. В статье содержатся предложения авторов по технологии исторической ретроспективы достижений выдающихся российских деятелей. Свои размышления авторы посвятили жизни и судьбе русского полководца первой половины — середины XIX в. генерал-фельдмаршала Ивана Фёдоровича Паскевича. Однако педагогические идеи достаточно универсальны и могут быть применены для вывода из исторического забвения отечественных героев. Авторы отказываются от традиционной хронологической последовательности изложения биографического материала, сосредоточив внимание лишь на наиболее важных эпизодах военной жизни генерал-фельдмаршала и его служения России, что поможет воспитанию патриотизма у современных российских школьников. В статье есть попытка разобраться в причинах того забвения, которому отечественная история предала имя И.Ф. Паскевича, и выражается уверенность, что наши современники с высоты накопленного исторического опыта переосмыслят своё отношение к полководцу. Содержатся размышления о сложности отношений между полководцем и властью, о тех уроках, которые можно извлечь из деятельности генерал-фельдмаршала И.Ф. Паскевича в свете современной военно-политической ситуации. Представляет интерес информация об эксперименте по обсуждению биографии и деятельности генерал-фельдмаршала Ивана Фёдоровича Паскевича на факультативных занятиях по военно-историческому воспитанию школьников, о педагогическом исследовании, проведённом по результатам данного эксперимента. При этом подчёркивается сложность проблемы трансляции военно-исторического материала в конкретном социокультурном контексте современности.

Annotation. The article contains the authors‘ proposals on the technology of historical retrospective of achievements of outstanding Russian figures. Their reflections, the authors have dedicated the life and career of the Russian commander of the first half — the middle of XIX century the General field Marshal Ivan Fedorovich Paskevich. However, pedagogical ideas are quite universal and can be applied to the conclusion of the historical oblivion of

domestic heroes. The authors abandon the traditional chronological sequence of biographical material, focusing only on the most important episodes of the military life of the field Marshal and his service to Russia, which will help to educate patriotism in modern Russian schoolchildren. The article is an attempt to understand the reasons for the oblivion to which Russian history betrayed the name of I.F. Paskevich, and expresses confidence that our contemporaries from the height of accumulated historical experience will rethink their attitude to the commander. There are reflections on the complexity of the relationship between the commander and the government, on the lessons that can be learned from the activities of field Marshal I. F. Paskevich in the light of the current militarypolitical situation. Information about the experiment to discuss the biography and activities of field Marshal Ivan Fedorovich Paskevich at optional classes on military-historical education of schoolchildren, about the pedagogical research conducted on the results of this experiment is of interest. The complexity of the problem of translation of military-historical material in the specific socio-cultural context of modernity is emphasized.
