Adventure And Ecology: Leisure And Leaning With Pleasure. One Of The Possible Solutions To Pedagogical Problems

Abstract. The paper presents the conceptual foundations (basic principles) of the Proactive and Integrative Environmental Education and Upbringing (PIEEU), experiential (practice-oriented) learning and ecological culture. It summarizes the experience of conducting of science-adventure programs in children’s recreation camps within the framework of the project «Leisure and Learning with Pleasure». The necessity of strengthening of environmental education and experiential approach to teaching as vital in addressing global challenges and problems is shown.
